Natural floods and humanity’s desire to create reservoirs have caused many towns to disappear. The buildings of flooded settlements have become part of the reservoir floor, yet above the water there are still traces proving that a village once stood here.<\/p>

Church columns can still be seen rising above the water. This time, we begin our hike in Sisian and walk three kilometres south. We reach Tolors Reservoir. By the way, if you look at it from different elevations, you will notice that it is heart-shaped. The hiking trail runs alongside the reservoir, and the church emerging from the water is a reminder of the area’s former history.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
